If you’ve struggled to attain your goals in the past it may be because you didn’t consider the type of goal you were setting – a Finish Line Goal or a Habit-based Goal.


Finish Line Goals involve sequential steps ruled by a deadline. Progress on these types of projects is tracked by completing certain actions by specific dates. When you accomplish this type of goal, you are done with it.


Habit-based Goals, on the other hand, revolve around actions that are repeated day after day (perhaps with some tweaking). Doing the same action each day has a cumulative effect that helps you reach your goal. However, you then continue with the same type of habits forever to maintain the results you attained.


Kinder, Gentler Goals helps you determine if you are working on Finish or Forever Goals. Along with guidance, you’ll also receive over a dozen worksheets that will help support your efforts at creating both Finish Line and Habit-based goals.


If you try to go after both types of goals in the same way, you’ll feel frustrated and you may even give up on creating the life you want. In order to create the life you want, you’ll use both types of goals. Choose the right methods to support your efforts and you’ll have a likelier chance of success.
