Clearing a space doesn't give you more space, but it does give you access to the space you have. You can cram things into a cabinet, maybe even put different things in that space in a quest to fit as much as you possibly can.
But, that cabinet has the same amount of space, no matter what's in there. One of the basic "rules" of organizing is that space is limited. You can declutter and feel as if you have more space, but really, you just have less stuff in the space.
Today's task is to select a limited space to store glassware and to eliminate any drinkware that doesn't fit in that space.
How many glasses do you need? Think about your family's needs, any entertaining that you do - as well as how often you run your dishwasher.
Do you need all the space you designated for glasses when you consider what you use? Remember, some wiggle room creates a feeling of spaciousness and frees you from trying to squeeze things into a set area.
