January 2 - Let Go of Greeting Cards

1/2/2020

It's the second day of January and you may have already taken down your holiday decorations.

If not, when you take down any received holiday cards, know that it’s okay to recycle them. (And if you already took down the cards and tucked them into a drawer, know that you can let them go.)

Some people feel obligated to hold onto cards (particularly photo cards), but remember, those cards did their job in letting you know a friend, family member, coworker, or someone else was thinking about you.

Unless there is a special note that you want to hold onto because it is meaningful to you, you don’t need to keep the lot, they no longer serve a purpose.
