One of the reasons for creating a less cluttered life is so you have more time and space for the people and activities important to you.
Don’t feel that you have to hold off engaging in things you enjoy until your home is completely decluttered. Giving yourself small pleasures can help you stay motivated.
Today, plan time for reading or engaging in another hobby that you say you never have time for. Move that skein of yarn and knitting needles next to the chair you sit in when watching television or bring your guitar out of the closet so it’s more obvious.
Plan to include these pleasures for at least five or ten minutes a day. Remember, starting is the difficult part. Five minutes a day is better than no minutes a day.
