Day 10 of 15/15 (15 days of 15-minute tasks)
When you leave a room, “reset it” so it’s ready to use the next day or later in the day. For example, make your bed and pick up any clothing on the floor. Or, clean off your desk when you finish working in this spot. Or, fold the afghan, fluff the couch pillows, and clear away your snack or beverage dishes if you were watching television.
This isn’t cleaning or decluttering but tidying just enough so the space is ready and welcoming when you reenter the area. Think of cleaning up after dinner so when you go into the kitchen the next morning you aren’t faced with a mess.
You can break up today’s 15-minutes to two or three (or more) spaces since resetting a space isn’t in-depth work.
