Do you have a stash of specialty food items (coffee, teas, cookies, nuts, crackers, jams, spreads, dried fruits, olives, etc.) that you bought for holiday guests or drop in visitors? (Do you really have drop-in visitors for whom you’d lay out a spread of nibbles?)
Is it time to start bringing these items to work or social gatherings so they don’t expire or become your (or a family member’s) late-night snack?
