Make a quick list of things that make you smile. Think of things that you can look at, listen to, smell (burning a candle), feel (patting a pet), ways you move (knitting, bathing, dancing).
Aim for 25 things. Nothing has to be expensive or time consuming (listening to a favorite song – or dancing to it – can be done in three or four minutes).
