Can you donate your DVDs? (If some belong to other family members, check with them before donating!) My town library’s book sale sells donated CDs and DVDs for fifty cents!
If you have a large collection of music and movies, it can be painful to think of the money you invested in items that aren’t worth much now.
Instead, think about how much you enjoyed being entertained by these things. You could even make a point of watching or re-watching movies before passing them along; but, give yourself a deadline for doing this so the thought of watching your DVDs again doesn’t become an excuse for holding onto them for another year.
(Of course, if you regularly watch your DVDs, then continue to enjoy them!
