Eliminate an item from a closet that you no longer need or want.
Closets can become collection areas for the things we don’t want to make decisions about. Often, we don’t think of emptying out a closet until we can’t fit anything else in the space or we go looking for something we’re convinced must be in that space.
You don’t need to empty an entire closet (unless you have the inclination and the time), just remove one item.
