Carry on creating your list of small pleasures; tiny, sensory treats to give yourself whenever you need a break or a boost. Avoid thinking that you’ll remember these small acts and so you don’t have to write anything down.
When you need a pick-me-up, treating yourself nicely will be easier when you don’t have to expend the energy dredging up a mental list.
Today, list five olfactory experiences that you could give yourself right away (so, nothing you need to make an appointment for or to travel for). For example, make a cup of herbal tea, light a candle or incense, take a bath or shower using a beautifully fragranced soap, and so on.
