Self-care September continues ...

How are you unkind to yourself? Do you push yourself to finish tasks when you’d rather fall into bed? Do you overeat or drink, dulling your emotions, perhaps to avoid uncomfortable feelings? Do you do a favor for someone else without considering helping yourself first? Do you allow negative chatter to fill your head?

If you catch yourself being harsh with yourself, can you call “stop?” Instead of being mean can you ask yourself what you need? Can you give yourself that? How about a small act of kindness for you?
